Frequently Asked Questions
What are our hours?
We are open Monday-Wednesday, Friday 7:30am-5:30 pm with an hour lunch from 12:30pm-1:30pm; Thursday 8am-12pm. Holiday hours may vary.
What is your pricing?
We strive to keep our pricing as affordable and accessible as possible. Costs may vary depending on your pet’s size and individual needs. For every procedure and diagnostic workup, we provide detailed estimates in advance.
If you have questions or concerns about pricing, we’re happy to prepare estimates for services such as wellness exams, medications, and more. Our reception team may connect you with one of our technicians to ensure accurate estimates rather than providing pricing over the phone.
Please know that we are not here to judge—everyone’s financial situation is different, and our goal is to help. Being open about what you’re comfortable spending allows us to work with you to create the best possible care plan for you and your pet.

What does privately owned mean?
When we say a veterinarian is “private,” it means the practice is owned and run by local vets—not a large corporation. That independence lets us focus on what matters most: you, your pet, and building real relationships within our community. We have the flexibility to spend more time with you, tailor care to your pet’s specific needs, and make medical decisions based on what’s best for them—not corporate policies or profit goals. While every clinic is different, private practices often feel more personal, welcoming, and family-oriented.

I booked my first appointment.. what do I need to bring or do now?
Alright—you’ve booked your first appointment! Here’s how to prepare and what to bring.
If your pet has been to a veterinarian before and requires anxiety medication or extra time during appointments, please let us know ahead of time. This allows us to ensure any needed medication is available and that your appointment is scheduled appropriately. Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for both you and your pet. If your pet is anxious or needs a slower, more gentle approach, we are happy to accommodate. Our doctors and technicians have experience working with reactive, anxious, and protective pets.
If your pet hasn’t been to the vet before, that’s perfectly okay too! For cats, we recommend placing their carrier out in your home several days before the appointment to help them become more comfortable and make transportation easier.
Treats are always a great idea! While we are well stocked, bringing your pet’s favorite treats can help them feel more at ease and make the visit go more smoothly.
Lastly, please bring copies of any medical records you have. Our reception team will attempt to obtain records from your previous clinic or shelter, but sometimes they’re unavailable—so having your own copy ensures we have everything we need.
We can’t wait to meet you and care for your pet!
